USA-2002 Summer Trainee Program at Chalmers University of Technology

Sweden

Since
1963, the Summer Trainee Program has given students at Chalmers the
opportunity of getting valuable experience through traineeships in
USA
. The purpose of the Program is to promote
educational, technical, and cultural understanding between the
United States
and the Scandinavian countries. The Summer Trainee
Program is a non-profit association, consisting of 23 members who have
completed at least the third of four and a half years of a Master’s
Program. The students graduate as MSc in Mechanical Engineering,
Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
with Engineering Physics or Bio Engineering, Industrial Engineering
& Management.

Conditions
& Duration:
The Summer Trainee Program will take care of the
trainee’s personal and health insurance, travel expenses and visa
applications. The students are qualified enough to carry out a project in
a team, or on their own. They are able to start
the 10th of June 2002
and stay for eight to ten weeks. As a host employer,
your only obligations are to train the individual and to provide a salary
that will cover the student's cost of living.

looking for a Swedish Quality Assurance Tester
|

This
client is a leading supplier of end-to-end synchronization software
and infrastructure solutions for the wireless Internet.
Essentially, the make software that allows you to hot sync remote
devices. IE - palm pilot
|
|
Position: The
client is looking for 1 localization Swedish Quality Assurance engineer
to help in testing the translation of their software from English into Swedish
language. This individual will be looking at the software, making sure
that the grammar and layout of the application are correct.
|
| The
ideal candidate: will have been born in the native country, and
should have a good eye for detail. A strong command of Windows
operating systems and the Internet is also a must. |
| Duration:
This is a contract position most likely 2-3 months unless it will be
extended because it is project based. |
